The Entrepreneurship Summer Program is a two-week intensive summer program designed by the School of Business for international students to delve into the world of entrepreneurship through interactive classes, field visits to companies and incubators, meetings with successful entrepreneurs and social and cultural visits in Egypt. The program prepares students as they enter the employment market after graduation and encourages aspiring entrepreneurs to start their own businesses. Networking and the exchange of ideas are among a diverse cohort, is an integral element in this program. The program is delivered in English by experienced faculty, international practitioners and instructors from diverse backgrounds. The program is built on interactive discussions, experiential learning, group activities, cases, and guest speakers.

Visa Information


Who Delivers the Program? Who Can Apply? When and Where?

The program is delivered in English by:

  • Experienced AUC faculty at the School of Business and beyond
  • Members of the Babson collaborative
  • Experienced local and international practitioners
  • Entrepreneurs and instructors

Candidates must be:

  • International students
  • Undergraduate students enrolled in a university by the start of the program or fresh graduates (graduates of the year 2017 or after)
  • Students from all fields are eligible (Business, Economics, Engineering, computer science, Information Technology and more)
  • Have an intermediate-level English language skill

Program Duration and Date:

Two weeks July 1-15, 2019

  • February 11 to May 30, 2019

Early Bird payment:

  • 10% discount on application fees
  • February 11 to April 30, 2019

Regular Application:

  • May 1 to May 30, 2019
  • Price: USD 1200

*All rates excluding accommodation, airfare, and visa

 30% of the total amount of registration will be refunded if a candidate withdraws their application and payment before April 30, 2019.

Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation (CEI)

In 2015, the School of Business launched the Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation (CEI) as an evolution of the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Program (EIP), which was established in 2010 in collaboration with different stakeholders from within as well as outside of AUC. The Center's focus is on promoting entrepreneurial education and capacity building opportunities, carrying out cutting edge research on entrepreneurship in the Arab region, and supporting the growth of collaborative entrepreneurial ecosystems geared toward economic growth and sustainable job creation in Egypt and the region at large.

Being one of the first entities in the Middle East to promote entrepreneurship, launch accelerators, support business idea competitions and connect the ecosystem, the School of Business and its Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation are your destination for the Entrepreneurship Summer Program (ESP), taking place in metropolis of Egypt, the pulsing heart of the Middle East.
