School of Business Accreditation

AUC School of Business is recognized as the top private business school in Egypt, as well as being the first in the Arab region and third in Africa to receive triple-crown accreditation from the European Quality Improvement System (EQUIS), the Association of MBAs (AMBA) and the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). The school is among less than 1 percent of the 14,000 business schools worldwide to achieve triple-crown accreditation.

The global ranking and rating agency Eduniversal has placed AUC School of Business in the highest category of schools, the Five-Palmes League of Excellence, which are universal business schools with a strong global influence. In Eduniversal’s 2014 - 2015 global rankings, several programs achieved top rankings. The Master of Science in finance was ranked number 28 among the global ranking of the Top 100 in Financial Markets. The Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) program was ranked second in Africa and listed among the top 200 master’s programs worldwide. For the second consecutive year, the Master of Arts in economics was rated number one in Africa. The Master of Business Administration (MBA) program was ranked second in Africa and listed among the top 200 master’s programs worldwide. 

The school offers executive education and research centers that aim to promote responsible business and management in various fields of marketing, finance, economics management of information systems and entrepreneurship.

Executive Education Accreditation

The School of Business Executive Education received accreditation from the Accrediting Council for Continuing Education and Training (ACCET), an accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education as a reliable authority on the quality of education or training provided by institutions of higher education and programs, as well as the only recognized accrediting agency to be certified as an ISO 9001:2008-Quality Management System by Bureau Veritas Quality International. 

Being accredited ensures prospective students, instructors and employers that the School of Business Executive Education prepares graduates to be leaders capable of creating positive impact in the business world – a clear indication of the quality of the executive education programs offered by the School of Business Executive Education.

As A Partnership for Quality®, the ACCET accreditation process represents both an organizational commitment to and a strategic plan for quality training. This peer review evaluation process serves to keep programs current, relevant and educationally sound.

School of Business Executive Education participants will be awarded continuing education units (CEUs) for completed course(s). A CEU is recognized as a standard unit of measure for attributing continuing education and training activities.

ACCET is a well-known organization that is recognized as upholding standards of excellence when it comes to continuing and executive education, and therefore, many organizations will accept the School of Business Executive Education CEUs. For more information, visit the FAQ page.


Executive Education Open-Enrollment Rankings

School of Business Executive Open enrollment has been ranked for the fourth year in a row by the Financial Times as one of the best 75 executive education open-enrollment programs in the world. This makes the school the first and only business school in MENA that is ranked by the Financial Times.
