Students Attend 59th Annual CIES conference
Eight GSE students attended the 59th Annual Comparative and International Education Society Conference (CIES), held from March 8 to 13, 2015 in Washington, D.C.

CIES is a scholarly association dedicated to increasing the understanding of educational issues, trends and policies through comparative, cross-cultural and international perspectives. The students were Ahmed El Zorkani, Ola Hosny, Shereen Aly, Soha Mohamed, Nashwa MoheyEldine, Heba Shaheen, Batool Helmy and Shaimaa Awad. Nine students  Attend  Paulo Freire Institute Summer Program
Nine Graduate School of Education students were the first from Egypt to attend the Paulo Freire Institute Summer Program in University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). "As a group coming from AUC, we realized that our participation to the program was significantly appreciated both by the organizers and the fellow participants, mainly because we enriched the program with a wide spectrum of experiences and cultures." Spring 2012: First MA Graduating Class
June 15, 2012 was a day to remember and will always be recognized in the history of the Graduate School of Education -- the first batch of MA students graduated. This graduating class consisted of seven students, with diverse experiences and backgrounds. Read about each student here.
