Blogs and Wikis
Blogs and wikis can be used in several scenarios at AUC, including collaborative online writing by a group of faculty members, an online resource for students or a restricted-access discussion forum.
Both public and private blogs can be established to suit individual or departmental needs.

UACT actively encourages faculty members to publish webpages. Such pages provide a valuable medium of communication between faculty and students, and can provide much needed information about the background and research interests of AUC faculty.
UACT provides the service of assisting faculty design and publish webpages, and will schedule consultations for any interested faculty member.
Web Publishing Support
With a growing number of AUC faculty, staff and students attending UACT web Workshops, expertise in web development is increasing. For those of the AUC community who are developing web sites on their own, UACT offers help in the publication of these pages onto the AUCWeb servers.
FTP accounts are opened for such users to enable the publication of their web sites. These accounts are for ftp-related tasks only, and are completely secure, with each user assigned their own directory with limited write privileges and a password.
