Green Innovation and Entrepneurship Program (GIEP)
Egypt needs social innovators and entrepreneurs who are equipped with the necessary skills to develop new business models and contribute to the sustainable development of the nation. The Green Innovation and Entrepreneurship Program (GIEP) tries to fill the gap by producing a new generation of social entrepreneurs who can positively contribute to the sustainable development of Egypt.
GIEP, an EU-funded project under the TEMPUS program that brings three European and four Egyptian universities together to develop a joint graduate program. Following a market needs anaylsis by a group of professors from the participating universities and representatives from the green industry, the curriculum of the GIEP itself was developed with multidisciplinary modules of engineering, social science, economics, policy and management courses. Accordingly, students are offered study tracks and noncredit courses to ensure success and flexibility.

MSc program in sustainable development enables prospective students to pursue multidisciplinary study with the aim of addressing the dire social and environmental issues that currently plague society. Through this project, sustainable development and green economy will be pushed to the forefront of entrepreneurial and societal life in Egypt.
