The AUC School of Business maintains its leadership position on the global map of business education by achieving the AACSB, AMBA and EQUIS reaccreditations.

Jul 2, 2017

The AUC School of Business is proud to maintain its position among the 1% leading business schools worldwide by obtaining the renewal of the three most prestigious international accreditations: AACSB, AMBA, and EQUIS. The commonly called Triple-Crown accreditation was originally achieved in 2014. The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), the Association of MBAs (AMBA), and the European Quality Improvement System (EQUIS) are the most influential international business schools associations in the world. As of January 2017, only 77 business schools worldwide held the sought-after triple-crown.

“Maintaining the Triple Crown confirms the AUC School of Business academic leadership in Egypt, the Arab Region, Africa and the World” states Interim Dean Nizar Becheikh. “It represents a clear vote of confidence in the School strategy, governance, and rigorous continuous improvement processes, and a recognition of the cutting edge quality of our programs, the high caliber and practical relevance of our research, and the deep impact of our community and corporate engagement in Egypt, the Arab Region and beyond”, he continued.

The Triple Crown represents a seal of excellence. To our students, it means that the programs they are offered at the AUC School of Business meet the highest international standards of business education and that their degree is recognized worldwide. The Triple Crown means also that the School is offering a rich and stimulating intellectual environment to its students, faculty, and various stakeholders. It also confirms that the School is providing up-to-date, inspiring and innovative academic degrees, professional and executive education programs and trainings, and extra-curricular and co-curricular activities.

“Accreditation does not only provide the quality assurance that students look for when choosing a particular major; it also provides the inspiration and confidence needed before and after graduation” stated Adam Louis Angus, business major student. He also highlighted that “the AUC School of Business, being Triple-Crown reaccredited, proves its commitment to continuous quality enhancement, providing students with confidence in the high value of their degree, and the stability their education would provide to their future career decisions." For Saeed Talaat, School of Business alum ‘16, “being triple crowned is a guarantee that the School focuses not only on academics but also on excellence and on qualifying high calibers for the job market. This is very beneficial when applying to prominent corporations, especially abroad”.

To the School’s partners, the Triple Crown is a confirmation of the high quality of our research, the effectiveness of our corporate linkages, and the extensiveness and diversity of our international partnerships network. It enables the School to comfortably sustain and reinforce its commitment to academic international partnerships in terms of joint research projects, joint academic degrees, student exchange programs, international internships, as well as faculty and staff mobility. It will also spur the School ongoing and continued effort to bridge the gap between academia and the business world through corporate linkages in research, student activities, and curricula enhancement.

Interim Dean Nizar Becheikh stresses that “this fabulous achievement is the result of incessant hard work, relentless determination, and exemplary collective engagement of the whole School team including faculty, staff, students, Strategic Advisory Board members, AUC administration, alumni, employers and all supporters of the school. It is with great sense of pride and satisfaction that we celebrate the renewal of our Triple Crown. Warm congratulations and sincere thanks to the whole School of Business family!”
