Ambassador Mohamed Tawfik, Former Ambassador of Egypt to Washington Examines President Trump’s first 100 days

Mohamed Tawfik, the ambassador of Egypt to Washington during the critical period from 2012 to 2015, shared his insights and views on President Donald Trump’s first 100 days from an Egyptian perspective in a policy brief, which he contributed to GAPP’s Policy Brief Series.
Ambassador Tawfik had an illustrious diplomatic career, which spanned thirty-four years during which he assumed a number of bilateral and multilateral positions including that of president of the conference on disarmament, chairman of the Group of 77 in Geneva and coordinator of the New Agenda Coalition for Nuclear Disarmament.
