Online Learning
Independent learning is easy and accessible: anywhere, anytime. The basics of using the AUC Library catalog can be mastered through our online catalog tutorial. For an introduction to research and the beginning skills of information literacy, check the LALT 101 online textbook, Intro to Library Research.

For further learning, AUC librarians have made a variety of material available through library subject guides.

Subject/Course Sessions
A subject-focused or course-based library session can introduce students to the most appropriate research tools and techniques for a particular project, paper or field of study. Held in the Main Library’s instruction lab, the sessions allow for a combination of discussion and hands-on exercises. Specific content is determined jointly by the instructor and the librarian.
