Tahrir Book Delivery
Using a valid AUC ID card, books may be borrowed from the AUC Tahrir Square library.
Fill out a book search form, and indicate the pickup location "Tahrir".
Delivery of materials will be within 72 hours (three working days).
A maximum of five books may be delivered by the Tahrir library to all types of patrons. This does not apply to SCE students and vsitors who have borrowing privileges, where the maximum is three books only.
Whether books are borrowed from the AUC Library in New Cairo or the AUC Tahrir Square library, patrons may return them to the Library in Tahrir.
Books should be returned on or before the due date at the Tahrir library or at the circulation desk of the AUC Library in New Cairo. Books not returned on time to the proper location will result in a fine.
An overdue book will automatically block a patron from borrowing. The library will send patrons with overdue books two overdue notices. Failure to receive an overdue notice does not exempt a borrower from a fine.

The AUC Tahrir Square library is located in the Falaki Academic Center.
Searches, Holds and Recall
Patrons may fill out an online pick-up request form, if the book is not checked out and is on the AUC Library shelf in New Cairo.
If a book is checked out, the AUC Tahrir Square library staff members may place a "hold" on it. When the book is available, a notice will be sent to the patron and the book will be held for pickup for seven days at the library in Tahrir Square.
All books are subject to recall 14 days after their first check out date, and/or at any time for reserve use.
