Informing and Supporting Policies to Address Sexual and Reproductive Health Inequities In Partenership with UNFPA/ASRO
The Social Research Center of the American University in Cairo (SRC/AUC) is the implementing partner for a regional initiative on “Sexual and Reproductive Health Inequities” launched by the United Nations Population Fund for Arab States Regional Office (UNFPA/ASRO). The long-term objectives of the regional initiative are to contribute to 1) informed policy dialogue about effective, measurable health equity solutions; 2)supporting governments to form integrated multisectoral policies and programs that engage civil society and communities to address SRH inequities in the Arab Region; and 3) reduction in sexual and reproductive health inequities.
UNFPA supported SRC to produce 5-country analytic reports, a regional report, as well as policy brief and roadmap to inform policy dialogue about effective and measurable SRH equity solutions and to support governments to form integrated multisectoral policies and programs to address SRH inequities in the Arab region.
