This certificate provides practical guidelines for business professionals interested in exploring the opportunities the digital marketing offers to manage and enhance the visibility of their products or services in today's market space. The achievement certificate in sales and  marketing provides knowledge about how markets operate and buyers behave. While the career certificate in Digital marketing enhances skills and abilities to develop strategies, increase revenue and raise the level of professionalism and growth in marketing research and planning as well as studying digital and social media marketing tools. In Digital Marketing.I, learners will acquire the knowledge and skills needed to manage various digital marketing tools; like search engine optimization, email marketing, in addition to Google tools and analytics. In Digital Marketing.II, learners explore various social media marketing as an integral component of marketing campaigns as well as acquire the skills needed to leverage social media brand existence, exposure, and engagement through developing an integrated plan for social media marketing campaign to achieve the business goals. 

Admission Requirements:

  • Applicants must obtain the score for course ENGGB1A on the SEPT or passing ENGGA2D.

  • Applicants must have basic computer literacy.

Learners are assessed throughout the term by assignments (lesson plans, observation tasks, practical teaching practice, and written reflections) and a written exit test. The final grade is, therefore, an accumulation of continual and achievement assessment for which the minimum accepted score is 70 percent. Final course grades are NOT based on attendance since, in accordance with SCE’s attendance policy, trainees must attend at least 75 percent of the class sessions in order to be allowed to take the final examination.
