Professional Tax Accountant
This certificate provides the learner with in-depth and highly technical knowledge about various types of tax laws applied in Egypt and the region, together with their implications for individuals and corporations. Along the certificate, the emphasis is made on how these laws and regulations apply in the preparation of personal and business tax returns. The certificate deals with the current tax system and learners get the chance to combine theoretical knowledge with hands-on skills using case studies from the real corporate world.
1- Certificate of Achievement in Professional Tax Accountant
- Applicants must pass the Standardized English Proficiency Test (SEPT), Score ENGGA2C or Passing ENGGA2B
- Applicants must have basic computer literacy
- Applicants must be graduates of the Faculty of Commerce (accounting major). Graduates of different majors should pass SBAF 101 and must have a minimum of two-year professional experience in accounting/finance field
* One continuing education unit equals 10 contact hours.
Learners are assessed throughout the term by tests, quizzes, assignments, projects or other means of evaluation. End-of-term achievement tests measure learners’ overall performance in the course. The final grade in each course is based on the learners’ performance on continual assessment measures and the final test. Final course grades are not
based on attendance since —
in accordance with SCE’s attendance policy —
learners must attend at least 75 percent of the class sessions in order to be allowed to take the final examination.
