Professional Tax Accountant
This certificate provides the learner with in-depth and highly technical knowledge about various types of tax laws applied in Egypt and the region, together with their implications for individuals and corporations. Along the certificate, emphasis will be made on how these laws and regulations apply in the preparation of personal and business tax returns. The certificate will deal with the current tax system and learners will get the chance to combine theoretical knowledge with hands-on skills using case studies from the real corporate world.
1- Certificate of Achievement in Professional Tax Accountant
- Applicants must pass the Standardized English Proficiency Test (SEPT), Score ENGGA2C .or Passing ENGGA2B
- Applicants must have basic computer literacy.
- Applicants must finish foundation certificate in accounting and finance ** or with a minimum of three years professional experience in accounting/finance field.
* One continuing education unit equals 10 contact hours.
** Learners who completed a foundation certificate or AUC continuing education certificate are required to sit for the SEPT if they dropped out for a period of one year or more from the date of completing the certificate.
Learners are assessed throughout the term by tests, quizzes,
assignments, projects or other means of evaluation. End-of-term
achievement tests measure learners’ overall performance in the course.
The final grade in each course is based on the learners’ performance on
continual assessment measures and the final test. Final course grades
are NOT based on attendance since — in accordance with SCE’s attendance
policy — learners must attend at least 75 percent of the class sessions
in order to be allowed to take the final examination.
