Explore the Academic Study of Islam in the Heart of the Muslim World

AUC Institute for Islamic Studies offers two, four-week programs taught by world-class faculty in the heart of Cairo, one of the most vibrant cities of the Muslim World.

Students will engage in daily exploration of Islamic themes, followed by intensive level-appropriate Arabic instruction, with more advanced students studying primary source texts set by the instructors of the content courses.

Weekends include cultural excursions to historical neighborhoods, religious sites, and guest lectures by Egyptian scholars.
