Course Assessment

Participants are assessed throughout the program by tests, quizzes, assignments, projects or other means of evaluation. End-of-modules tests measure participants’ overall performance in the program. The final grade in each module is based on each participant's performance on continuous assessments and the final test. The final grade is not based on attendance, since in accordance with the SCE’s attendance policy, participants must attend at least 75 percent of the class sessions in order to be allowed to take the final examination. Therefore, the final grade is an accumulation of continuous and achievement assessments, for which the minimum accepted score is 70 percent.
